Several major self storage companies continue to frustrate customers by insisting they purchase self storage insurance through themselves rather than from an independent provider such as ourselves where the cover is wider and far more competitively priced.

Only this week, a self storage company based in Bolton, in a letter to their customer, stated they would not accept any self storage insurance policy from any other provider. Store & Insure drafted an email for the customer to send to the self storage company reminding them of the Financial Conduct Authority's rules and regulations and The Consumer Rights Act of 2015 regarding anti-competitiveness and charging excessive fees.The self storage company relented and the customer has now purchased self storage insurance through ourselves.
